Dr Utkarsh Gupta

Utkarsh is the founder of Neurogether Ventures LLC. Neurogether Ventures is a venture studio to empower neuroscientific innovation by supporting entrepreneurs and by building an interdisciplinary collaborative framework. The current focus of the venture studio is to enhance memory and learning functionality in the rapidly increasing aging population for a better present and future. Parallel to his entrepreneurial interests, Utkarsh is also a cognitive neuroscience postdoc research scholar at University of North Dakota. His research focuses on memory enhancement and bodily self-consciousness. He is working on identification of behavioural and neurophysiological indices that can be used to measure and enhance memory functions. His academic achievements include a PhD and Masters in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. In addition to his academic pursuits, Utkarsh is an accomplished entrepreneur, having won The Chamber’s Shark Tank and The Big Pitch competitions. He has also served as an associate lecturer in faculties of Science and Business, and as a mentor in venture camps like Cambridge Latvia Venture Camp. His efforts bridge the gap between academia and industry, emphasizing neuroscience and entrepreneurship. Together with is entrepreneurial, research, and clinical expertise, Utkarsh strives to make real-world impact by bridging the gap between academia and industry to tackle the real-world challenges and support the welfare of humans.
